The Iron Duke has been doing traditional roasts at lunchtime on a Sunday for a while now. We have, of course, been before and the roasts were very popular!
They also do a number of items (but not all!) from their weekday menu. So, there's plenty of choice (for vegetarians too!) if you don't want a roast. For those of you who haven't yet been to The Duke, check out their website at: www.irondukebrighton.co.uk - this gives you the lowdown on a really quirky pub (and their menu), catering for a really local crowd.
The pub is in Waterloo Street - as near to the Brighton/Hove border as you can get (almost)! It's also close enough to the City centre to allow you to do something else on the same day! The nearest bus stop is Norfolk Square. You then walk down Waterloo Street and the pub is on the right at the seafront end.
See you there for a very relaxed Bank Holiday Sunday lunch!
