Talks Evening - Vagrant and An Intro to Microservices

The next Brighton Java event will be on July 2nd.

John Patrick will be speaking on Vagrant, a useful tool that creates configurable, reproducible environments that can be used by developers, DBAs, designers, continuous integration, automated testing or dev ops. Take the stress out of environment management and store you environments in source control.

An Introduction to Microservices

Microservices are one of the hottest ideas in Java development. Lloyd Nye will present a brief introduction to this style of architecture and looking at some of the potential drawbacks.

We will be at the Skiff again, with doors opening at 7pm with the talks starting after 7:30pm. Beer, soft drinks and snacks will be provided by Crunch Accounting.

(Laurence Barry's session on Interviewing has been postponed)
