Bring your guitar (harmonica, ukele, bongos, violin or other acoustic instrument...) and any music you want to play e.g. chords, lyrics etc. If you are playing guitar, it would be useful if you could bring along a "capo" so we can be more versatile with changing key for the vocals...

Bring along any drinks or snacks you want for the evening.

My flat is in the building north of the Lidl store and near the roundabout. The entrance to the block is immediately behind the bus shelter. Any problems give me a ring [masked]).

There is a £1 cost per person for each of these session, payable on the evening. This is to cover the fee charged to me by "Meet up" to run these events (approx. £50 every 6 months).

I have put together a summary of details for the "gig" on 3rd August - this document is in the files section called "Acoustic_jam_gig_3rd_August_details". For the jam session on 24th July, I suggest we have a run through Wild Horses and Sweet Virginia and try out a blues number (Stef/Linden/Pete are looking into this). If we have time we can have a quick look at the other songs in the "set list". Make sure you have RSVP'd for the gig event - there is a maximum of eight people can be part of this...!

Hi guys can I suggest we give this song a try, 'Ho Hey' by Lumineers, heard it on the radio the other day. Nice simple song, kinda folksy, has a mandolin on it so the uke may sound good if someone else wants to have a crack at it while I play guitar! I'll put the chords up. Here's the song -
