A group for friendly and enthusiastic photographers. The BPG is a diverse bunch, very welcoming and I enjoy meeting new members at any of our walks, talks and workshops.

As often as possible, I try to create exciting and interesting workshops and events. Free walks happen on occasion too, but the main purpose of this group is to inform and educate, and that comes at a small cost. BTW, when I say small cost, it really is!

The events I run are always very popular, so ensure you sign up fast. If you are going to give up your time, you want to know that the person in front of you is capable, experienced and knowledgable - so I invite you to check out my work at www.dadefreeman.com

The workshops I run are designed for you to learn, improve or practice a particular photographic skill. They take place in a variety of settings including studios, local venues and outdoors. I typically limit numbers so I can ensure you get individual attention.

In addition, I run several annual free photowalks - Scott Kelby, 500PX - Flickr - past walks have been in and around Brighton, Seven Sisters, Dungeness and at many other interesting locations. As well as a couple of informal meetups.

Every meeting is a chance to engage with other photographers, to talk about your projects, the latest gear, share your techniques or just socialise and the BPG accepts all types of cameras; digital, film, point & shoot even cameraphones.

Photography is an active hobby/profession - it's not done from your armchair! I don't believe in just talking about it. I want to get out there and do it. So why not join us?!
