Less can certainly be more if you understand how to control the noise of a busy scene. For those of you who like the quiet moments and cleaner scenes, I will be running a photowalk where 'Minimalism' is the order of the day.
The walk will be limited to 8 participants as only those interested in this style of photography should attend. I would also like this to be an opportunity to learn from each other rather than a pointless amble around town and in my experience smaller groups work better for this.
Composition, Texture, Shape and Colour all play key roles in this genre, as does what you leave out of the frame.
So if the idea excites you and interests you, then I welcome your participation. We can find a nice cafe to grab some lunch and go through the images taken from the day and discuss areas for improvement and general learning.
ps - Your camera gear and lens choice is not as important as your eye ;)
