- The OriellesKomedia Brighton, Brighton
I first came across the Orielles in the corner of the Hope and Ruin's ground floor, playing a free gig when they may not have been able to legally buy a drink. Since then, they've blossomed into playing psychedelic pop, exotic disco and, as of the last album, lush, electronica-brushed experimentation.
I have no idea what the next one will sound like but this might be a sneak peek. This Komedia show is part of a mini-tour across the south of the country and probably the smallest room you'll see them in for a while. It also means tickets will go quickly, so make sure to get in fast. Much-loved Scottish indie-pop, back after 10 years!
I'm very pleased to see this lot touring again. I imagine it will sell out before too long, as I'm assuming others are also excited about this one!
