White Denim played the Haunt in November. I missed my chance to see them because they sold out early, unlike a good mate of mine who got to see them and loved them. If you are interested, get your ticket early!
"Texan experimentalists White Denim come to Concorde2 for a much anticipated show!
Formed in Austin, Texas in 2005 Josh Block and James Petralli of Parque Torche met Steve Terebecki of Peach Train and decided to combine their talents. Ever since the indie rock trio have been releasing critically successful records.
2009's sophomore album 'Fits' gained them a sizable audience in the UK, and the following year they recruited fourth member Austin Jenkins to expand their guitar sound.
After signing to Downtown records in 2011, the band released their fourth album 'D' to overwhelming critical acclaim, appearing on various 'Top 50 Albums of 2011' lists, with Uncut placing it at no 4, Mojo at no 6 and NME at no 37 respectively.
White Denim's fifth album Corsicana Lemonade (2013) was released to rave reviews, and the band will be embarking on a headline tour in 2014 in support of the LP that will undoubtedly cement their status as the gods of eclectic indie/art/psychedelic rock."
