Learn about Clean Language skills!

Join us for our 3rd meet-up -- and an introduction to Clean Language! Clean Language is a respectful and powerful of way of facilitating change in your thinking and the results you are getting at work or home. Bev Martin will lead the meet-up this month.

Our focus tonight will be on leading edge skills- Introduction to Clean Language and Symbolic Modelling.

What does that mean?

Introduction to 1) Being 'CLEAN' in your interactions, and as a communicator- leaving your own assumptions and preconceptions out of your speech. A challenge! :)

and 2) how naturally you use metaphor in your speech- "He is an angel!" "This relationship is going through a rough patch" "I am stuck" "Learning is a breeze!"

The way we use metaphor is significant- this approach, based on the work of David Grove, (a student of Milton Erickson), allows us to become conscious of how our symbols and metaphors may be defining our lives, and how to change our thinking to change our lives in a most enjoyable and generative way.

Space is limited, so RSVP early. These meet-ups are sponsored by Brilliant U for learning, practicing, networking -- and having fun!

Multnomah Art Center is in Multnomah Village, close in southwest Portland. It has its own parking and/or street parking. Lots of small restaurants and pubs around if you want a bite to eat first.

7-830 pm in the "Conference Room", Room 4. We will be there from 645 p.m. The room is reserved under Brilliant U.

This meetup is FREE!

See you there!

The skills and practice are always helpful especially when it is new to the group. I had the pleasure of being coached "clean" by Marian Way in one of her free webinars recently. The work I did resulted in a "better than expected" result for me. Coaching in clean language works too.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
