Coalition to Unchain Dogs - Fence Build 4/11

We will be building a fence for Red, a gorgeous pit bull on Sunday, April 11 at 10 a.m. He lives in the Druid Hills Community (28206). I will send exact address to everyone who RSVPs Yes or Maybe. What we do is simple but it has a huge impact on both the dogs and the community. We build free fences for people who keep their dogs on chains. Living attached to a chain is no way for a dog to exist. It creates anxiety and aggression and thus poses a safety issue. We offer people a solution and try to educate them about their dogs’ needs for companionship, exercise and mental stimulation, etc. We require that all the dogs in a household be spayed/neutered (at no cost to the owner) before we build the fence. I will send you our waiver, philosophy and volunteer info when you RSVP. No experience necessary to volunteer, please bring water and work gloves. Hope to see you there!
