Bringing Science Back

Today we're inundated with junk science from infomercials, politicians, television and radio shows. Remember when you loved science and you knew what it was? Or maybe science has left you in the dust since you finished school.

Whatever the case may be, please join us and renew your relationship with science. This group is dedicated to the principals of the Science Cafe movement. Its purpose is to expose everyone to interesting new science, to get those burning questions answered, and to bring a good science sensibility back to all of our lives.

First things first: Once you join, the most important thing you can do is go to the IDEAS section to vote on topics and propose your own topics that you would like to learn about.   After that, all you have to do is find events you're interested in, RSVP, and show up.  We don't have any meetups planned yet, so bring on those ideas!

Plus, if you are interested in *presenting* on scientific topics, you are also very welcome. Please contact the group organizer with details.
