Where should we hold our Meetups?

An email has gone out to all members detailing the pros and cons of these locations. We need to decide quickly where to hold the October meeting, but have more time to choose a spot for regular meetings going forward.

What Rails topic do you want Ben Myles to present?

Ben Myles has offered to give a presentation based on one of two topics at the upcoming BRB meetup and will refer to his own experience of commercially supporting the RoR framework. From his recent post, he is considering: either the topic of Rails Deployment; (a) Setting up a VPS with a Rails environment, complete with rmagick, mysql, and a bunch of gems, (b) using a mongrel cluster and (c) load balancing a mongrel cluster with nginx. The other topic is RESTful Rails; (a) Why REST?, (b) how do I make a RESTful controller? and (c) routing and nested routes. Please vote for the one you would like to see.

Should we start a separate group or work within another?

We have the choice of starting a completely separate Ruby group or working in cooperation with one of the existing local tech groups. Which would you prefer? If you choose Other, it might worth leaving further comments/suggestions on this site.
