I had a good time. I really enjoyed the book which was on a must read list but I had not got around to it until now. I enjoyed the philosophy of the book as well as the language and the story.

Stepping in for Debbie... this month's theme is a book set in India, and the specific book is Kim by Rudyard Kipling.
"Kim" is on Project Gutenberg: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/search/?query=Kim+Kipling
A couple of other books that spring to mind are Shantoram by Gregory Roberts, and A Passage To India by EM Forster. I've read & enjoyed Shantoram, know nothing about EM Forster.

We like books. We like booze. We like talking. Every now and then, we get together and indulge. Often, we even talk about the book for the month. :-)
Gold coin donation, if I remember to bring Miss Piggy.
