HI Guys

Just a quick message about emails. I have no control over what emails you receive. These are generated by meetup. It is up to you to change your email settings so that you don't get so many and believe me you don't see as many as I do.

To change your email settings do the following

At the top of the page on the right is a list of tabs.

Hover over the drop down arrow next to "account" then select "email and notification".

Each of your groups will be listed here. You will need to change settings for each group you are a member of. Painful I know.

Beside each group is the icon "email and notification settings". Click for Booze and Books to enter the groups screen.

To cut down on most emails unclick all for sections "Meetups", "Photos" and "Members". The only ones you really need to go back and tick will be "changes to a Meetup I'm attending".

Leave meetup reminders as don't send unless you are really forgetful and Mailing lists as "Don't send me mailing list messages".

Please click the "Email me when this Meetup Group's message board is updated". When I send out these personal emails I will post on the board. I very rarely send out emails.( Having said that there will be another one this week)

Remember then to save your settings.

I don't know if this is all capable from the app, so you may have to log on via a PC to perform these tasks, but it will be so worth it.

This should cut out 98% of the emails that meetup sends out to you.

While I am writing to you, it isn't necessary to reply "no" to events. Only reply no if you had already replied yes and wish no longer to attend. If you don't want to attend just ignore the event.

Check in regularly for new updates. I seem to have a bit of time towards the end of the weekend and do most of my meetup stuff then.

As always you are free to add your own events. I will authorize it ASAP for you.

I am in the process now of organising something for us for the end of the year.

Hope to see you soon.

Kind Regards
