My main site www.aus4017.com is a Joomla 1.5 site, and I want to upgrade it to 2.5.

The template I am using is a freebie from Siteground, which I am very happy with – they have no plans to offer a 2.5 version, even though I offered to pay to upgrade.

I have bought Artisteer, but I find it is not flexible enough to recreate a similar template layout .

I have also looked at Yootheme and Rockettheme but can’t readily see anything closely suitable.

Has anybody gone through or tried to understand what is involved in upgrading/recreating a 1.5 compatible template into 2.5?

It is really frustrating me and holding me up – all ideas/suggestions welcome!.
