Hi Everyone,

I have just moved a website to a new host and I am having issues getting the index.php page to load automatically. For some reason the index.php pages does not load automatically. I even added “DirectoryIndex index.php” in to the .htaccess file but no success.

http://theia.webcity.... (works perfectly on Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari).

http://theia.webcity.... (only text no menu or images on Chrome & Safari. Does not load anything on Firefox or IE).

Any suggestions?

Regards,
Fu.

Just a quick question first, how did you move the site? With Akeeba Backup? If not have you changed the references in the relevant places?

Cheers

Hi there,

I have encountered a similar issue with the web server LiteSpeed.

The workaround which worked for my situation was to put Joomla root URL which is http://theia.webcity.... for your site.

You put the value to one of Joomla global configurations called $live_site in the file configuration.php.

I don't like this solution because I have to change the value to the one for live site every time I launch the site (I don't have to do this with Apache).

I think this is happening because one of global PHP variables $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'] has a different value between Apache and LiteSpeed.

My hosting company does not allow me to have a look at LiteSpeed Admin Console so I cannot really investigate this issue.
