Integrating with TFS for fun and profit

Brett cracked a smile as the dashboard on the wall flashed green. Another successful build with passing tests meant a free lunch coming his way today! But before he could celebrate too much, he heard his phone chirp with a new SMS. The customers had voted in a new feature request. Time to pick up the new PBI and get to work!

In this demo-heavy, interactive session we'll look at awesome ways you can integrate Team Foundation Server into third-party tools and your own applications. We'll start with some of the more established ways of integrating with TFS before moving on to the brand new REST APIs and Service Hooks released just this year.

Thanks all for coming. Feedback welcome!

    A few things:

    - The code needs a bit of tweaking, but I'll throw it on Github probably over the weekend.

    - I need to cut about 20min off the presentation... what should I leave out? :)

    - Domains and subdomains (i.e. the bit before the first / or ?) must be case-insensitive, but anything after that *can* be case-sensitive. Many websites are very lenient in what they expect, but some aren't (e.g. URL shorteners). That said, I'll update the demo so if there's no match I'll try a case-insensitive version.

Not a bad idea. might be difficult to scan only one of them from the crowd though...
