Zoophonic Blonde

Welcome to 'The Zoo'. One powerful rock chic backed by a brilliant band performing Pop/rock cover tunes. Fronted by legendary rock chic Chrissy Burke, and featuring the talents of James “We Will Rock You” Barber on guitar, this band packs a powerful punch.

Chrissy is currently the leading lady for the highly acclaimed Divinylz Experience tribute show and is renowned for delivering brilliant emotion fuelled performances every night. With over 10 years experience as a live performer, the stage is her home and she would love to invite you in.

An amazing high powered heavy rock performance. As a general rule, I don't favour tribute bands with an eclectic play list or female vocalists trying to imitate Bon Scott, Jimmy Morrison, Meatloaf, John Kay etc etc. Chrissy Burke is an exception. Her energy, her vocal range and her sheer love and enthusiasm for heavy rock is amazing. They did 4 set lists finishing at 12.45am (outlasting almost all our meetup group). Chrissy was still full of energy and looked like she wanted to do a few more hours she was enjoying it so much. Including 3 encores doing AC/DC - TNT and Stevie Wright - Evie Parts 1,2 & 3. As well the band was excellent, especially the lead guitarist. I intend to take every chance to go to their next performance. Chrissy tells me they do a gig at Ipswich nearly every month, so perhaps we could have another Divinylz/ Zoophonic Blonde meetup in 2014 so some more members can enjoy the best of hard rock music (hint).

Hi Michael, I will have to wait for you to introduce yourself to me as I do not think I will be able to recognise you from your profile pic. I will be leaving home at Banyo around 3-45 with pick ups at Taigum, Albany Creek and Spring Hill and hopefully arriving at the club around 5-30pm. I have never been to this club and will be relying on my GPS. See you there, Bryan

Oh I don't know, I don't expect there will be too many Meerkats there. Bryan, didn't you go to the Divinylz meetup at Brothers Leagues on 6th April?

Hi, I'm Nellie, I love music and getting to know people. I have been looking to join this group for awhile. I'm considering coming along Friday night as I love the Divinyls. I live at Wilston, if I could get a lift that would be the deciding factor, but will still think about it. Looking forward to my new groove!

Hope Chrissy Burke does more than the 3 Divinyls songs she did last time we saw them especially "I touch myself" which has the most amazing lyrics. For one of my very favourite music videos check out Chrissy Amphlett doing "Boys in Town" on Youtube.

To make things easier for the hosts, meetups during our absence won't have a waiting list available, it is up to each member to monitor and RSVP when a spot comes vacant.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
