Lateral Events is pleased to announce that British particle physicist Professor Brian Cox will return to tour Australia in October 2014, in a stage presentation titled Brian Cox – Making Sense of the Cosmos.

Brian Cox’s 2013 Australian tour Brian Cox – A Scientific Phenomena was a complete sell-out.

The all new show Brian Cox – Making Sense of the Cosmos takes audiences on a dazzling journey through space and time, at times delving into ‘high science’ and at others freewheeling on the edges of the known cosmos. Always captivating, continually surprising and forever pushing the boundaries, Professor Brian Cox takes science to a new dimension in this new stage show.
Brian Cox is the UK’s, and perhaps the worlds, foremost communicator of all things scientific. His television programs are ground breaking – Cox has the innate ability to make highly complex matters enormously entertaining and easy to contemplate. He is also a former rock star from the hit band D:Ream, who scored a UK number 1 hit in 1994 with the song “Things Can Only Get Better”.

Live events conducted by Brian Cox are a wonderment of an entirely new genre - his audience interactivity, stunning visuals and totally engaging manner leaves audiences enraptured, engaged, informed and occasionally besotted by him.

Brian Cox OBE is the “real deal” - a British particle physicist, a Royal Society University Research fellow. He works on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Switzerland and is a Professor at the University of Manchester. He is best known to the public as the presenter of a number of science programs for the BBC, boosting the popularity of subjects such as astronomy and physics.

Hi, this looks fun, but can someone please confirm that this is promoting the Australian tour, and that there is nothing happening in Brisbane next week? Cheers

Hi Jesse, yes I'd read your comments. From them I assumed that it was advertising events in other states, and that Brian Cox would be visiting Brisbane later in the year. But I just wanted to confirm that there wasn't a video or something planned this week in Brisbane. Thanks for responding though.

It seems Prof. Brian Cox is going to be appearing in every major Aussie city except Brisbane!

SO. What's everyone's thoughts on making a trip down to Sydney or Melbourne, staying in a hotel together and making this an awesome group getaway?

We have 12 months... let's discuss!
