Why or how did you become an Atheist?

Driven away from religion by RI in school, the effects of missionary activity in PNG, creationists in Queensland schools and the evil emanating from most religions. At some point realised there was not a scrap of evidence or need for a god.

What do you want from Brisbane Atheist Meetup meeting?

Don't know - but I hope we can see more action against the tendency of politicians to listen to the demands of religious people and thereby waste my money and endanger the education and freedom of my grandchildren.

How did you find out about our group?

I'm in another Meetup group.

No evidence for a god, no need for a god. The world is too interesting to waste time sucking up to imaginary friends.
