You're welcome.  Please do note though: there has never been this many emails in a day before - it really is a very unusual occurence.  The average has been one or two a week - if that.

Instead of opting out and maybe missing out on emails you may actually want to read, you could always choose the "In One Daily Email" option.

The way that works is that you'd receive all of the emails in one email at the end of the day (or the next morning, or something like that).  After reading one or two emails and deciding not to read on - simply delete one email.  Voila!

Thanks for the instructions Vonnie, 30 emails in a day is a bit much.
Cheers, Kathryn J

You can opt in or opt out.

To opt out from the emails (but not from the Brisbane Atheists Meetup ? we?re actually a great bunch of people who, sadly, suffered a FLAME ATTACK from ?one of our own? - no matter how much Stephen tries to justify it, in this group, his post was a flame):

Go to http://www.meetup.com/account/?tab=comm (or, if you can?t get there from the link, go to www.meetup.com, log in, and go to Brisbane Atheists Meetup page.

Click on Account.  (It?s near the top right-hand corner of the page.)

Click on Membership and Communications tab.

Click on the Not At All button.

But, if you opt out, you may not receive emails which may be of importance.  The better option would be to add people to your ?blocked senders? list or, my personal favourite, hit the delete button!
