PLASTIC BAGS: physical and chemical (concentrate persistent organic pollutants) hazards to marine life

Dear Folks,
At our last meeting which outlined the futility of carbon "cap and trade" fiascos (we would be better served by a simple carbon tax) we decided to try to lobby for something simple.

Attached please find a pdf file with two letters to Kate Jones (if the email attachment is not available, please see the downloads section of www.d3sj.org) encouraging her to ban non-biodegradable plastic bags.

If you agree with that plan, please forward this initiative to everyone on your email list, the aim being that each and everyone of us will send an email to her Ashgrove Electorate Office [address removed] and ministerial office [address removed]
supporting a ban on non-biodegradable plastic bags.

Even if you just "cut and paste" and send this one line appeal:

Dear Kate, please ban non-biodegradable plastic bags!

you will be helping a worthwhile cause

best regards
geoffrey
