One of the benefits of practical philosophy is to give us a deeper understanding of our relationship with death.
This event will provide a proactive, respectful and engaging forum for us to discuss this delicate topic which touches us all. We will also be discussing ideas and implications around what it means to be human with regards to radical life extension and immortality (transcendence).
Please remember to view at least one of the videos on our Food for Thought page prior to the event:

As per usual, our discussion facilitators will be provided with thought-provoking questions to fuel the discussions. Our members take turns facilitating these discussions. As the coordinator for all of our groups around the world, I'm the one who coordinates the facilitators for events prior to the event taking place (with one facilitator for every table of 6 people). I also facilitate events which take place in Vancouver.
Why is there a small fee? Click here to read the reasons why there is a small fee to attend our events.
Don't be afraid to sign up for this event since I'll cancel it and provide refunds if less than 5 people sign up. Also, I'll add an additional table of 6 people if there is enough people on the waiting list.
