Sauna and soak (women only)

  • Feb 18, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

I'm planning to go and soak and sauna for a couple of hours from 6:00pm (or maybe a bit earlier) on Tuesday evening and likely will go for a drink or a meal at one of the nearby restaurants afterwards.  If any of the women care to join us to soak and chat afterwards, they are welcome.

The venue has a women's spa and sauna area that seats about 8 or so, a cool pool about the same size, and a sauna with bench space for about 8, seated (4 if you are all lying down). There are hand held and stand-up showers where you can exfoliate, shampoo, condition or otherwise groom. In the women's section, the areas are all open, and most women choose to go naked, but some choose bathers as an alternative.

A tiny towel and locker key is provided with the entrance fee of $19.00 ($17, and sometimes $15 per visit if you buy a ticket for 10 visits). I recommend bringing your own bath towel (especially if you want to use the sauna), your own water bottle, and moisturiser.  Payment of admission allows you to stay as long as you choose -- but they close at 8:30pm.  There is also an open women's area with recliners, vibrating massagers and green tea for pre-soak or post-soak chat.

For more info email me at [masked] if you have questions.

Event Notes:
The Sauna and Soak is in a public space, although paid admission and gender segregated. Conversations can appear to be intimate, but are not private, so awareness of surroundings is appropriate. Attendance of youngsters with same sex parent is welcome, at parental discretion. This is an event suitable for old and new members of BPP, although circumstances and other attendees may prevent too open a discussion of polyamory. Existing members may bring poly or poly-friendly guests. Obviously, no photos. Remember this is safe space for our members, so please protect attendees' privacy after you leave the event.

    Hi, Folks.
I think there is some discrimination going on here. The invitation says, "(women only)" which I take to be discrimination 'cos the last time I looked I didn't have 'lady parts'. D'yer think they'd listen to me at the anti-discrimination commission?

You ladies all have a wonderful time.
    Best wishes.
    Deas Plant.

Ooops.... were you joking, Deas Plant? And I just gave a long heavy essay in response to humour? If so.... well, um, sorry!

hi beautiful women my name is claudia pigatto and l could sue them for not accepting pre op trans woman surely a bottom could be warn l am treated as a woman were ever l go so why not in a sauna if l am descriminated l will sue l need the money. by law we must be treated as woman an if not we can sue. l bet trans men wouldnt get this treatment. When is the world going to wake up and see gender does not belong in you genital area lm very angry because once again trans women are treated with descrimination its about time all women broaden there mind and not treat trans woman like inposters. we can be lovely people if someone gave us a chance. sorry but once again l have seen females less likely to be friendly lucky l have not found that in the male population shame and l dont care if l am not welcome by the gay female population thats your problem but if l am not treated equal l will sue.

I won't be attending. I will be having a meeting to discuss the different strategies to employ whilst banging one's head against a brick wall. :P

Oh hugs and I'm sorry! That sounds unfun, unless the meeting includes the strategies and the strategies include alcohol therapy! Will miss you.

Hi Claudia, as far as BPP is concerned, you are most welcome. Sadly, I'm not sure that Apollo's will feel the same way. It might be worth a call to them to check what their gender segregation criteria is. Hugs, R

No problems Kirsteen -- we do these quite often. And if you have a preferred date/time, just post it and if I'm free I'll try to schedule that.
