A social and discussion group based in Brisbane for all who are interested in open relationships, polyamory, and the varied alternatives to monogamy. We believe that we are able to run our relationships with honesty and integrity. We meet monthly for a lively and safe social afternoon, often with a theme presentation. Sometimes we put on a movie night, or a growth workshop, or a dinner/discussion. We commonly have folk from the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Brisbane Poly People is first and foremost a social and support group – not a site devoted to casual dating or intimate encounters. While you may find those kinds of connections here, just as you might anywhere else, they are not necessarily specific goals for many of our members. If these activities are the main reason you are interested in our group, you may also like to consider other sites. For poly-friendly dating, many BPP members recommend OkCupid.

Our group is open to the public, so when joining our group, you are welcome to choose a pseudonym (site and/or in person) to protect your privacy.  When choosing an image, please don't post a pic of someone else, or of an explicit nature, as it is inappropriate here and breaches meetup's terms.
