Friendly Meetup people, good film choice, comfortable cinema (Watershed) although very busy in the cafe/bar afterwards and difficult to hear people chat. Thanks for a nice afternoon.

This is the true story of accidental AIDS activist and homophobe Ron Woodroof. When he wasn't chain smoking, downing bourbon, having sex or snorting coke he was a rodeo cowboy, living a high, hedonist life. When an accident at work lands him in hospital, however, doctors discovered he was HIV positive and was given 30 days left to live, an announcement the bigoted Ron received with the claim "I ain't no faggot!" It's 1986, the terrifying early days of the AIDS epidemic....

Both McConaughey and Leto picked up well-deserved Golden Globes for their blazing work: it is truly transformative, and the best they have ever done. Never sentimental or overplayed, this is an at times brutally funny film that, as its main star said in his Golden Globes acceptance speech, is not about death - it's about living

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
