Oh yeah I was talking about https://www.linode.com/ for hosting and https://rtcamp.com/easyengine/ for installing nginx/php/sql on said hosting to people - first site using all that has just gone live

Great cause I didn't have to talk :) really good speakers and great to see how a sponsored group works again - food and drink is all good

Bit off topic, but if any Developers are interested in learning how to automate installing Google Analytics on Wordpress, Drupal & Magento, I am doing a talk on this in at TrueDigital office next wednesday at 6pm... http://www.meetup.com/Bristol-Digital-Analytics-Meetup/ & http://www.slideshare.net/mobile/phildpearce/4-clicks-to-measurement-superweek

We are Ross yes - whats your idea?

    March 2, 2015

    • Jenny W.

Ross, That sounds like my keynote at PHPUK. Most of the PHP community have already had words off me.

I think something more about * this is why WordPress has such a bad name, and the core plans going forward and more importantly, how the community as a whole can help to push it forward is way more effective.

We can do a discussion on hosting, versioning schemas and what we need to do as a grass root group to move WP off anything lower than 5.5

    March 3, 2015

    • Simon P.

Are you volunteering to talk? :D Versioning would be a very useful talk - as I don't think many people are fully aware of it

      March 3, 2015

    • Jenny W.

THB, i rather someone spoke instead of me. I'm sure you are all sick of me already. Thats why i suggested a discussion. :)

      March 3, 2015

Are you still wanting speakers from the WordPress side? I just have a stupid idea that I want to bounce off you guys.

Note: I'm rubbish at committing, especially in a busy month so maybe nothing comes of it.

Absolutely, drop an email to [masked] and I'll make sure it's forwarded on to BWP too
