For May the British Business Club will be going underground!! We have arranged a private tour which will explore the underground ruins of historic Koln. The first sewers were built by the Romans in the first century and little has changed for the past 1800 years. The sewers are very well preserved and we will also see the former Palace built by the Romans aswell as the ancient baths etc. Come and join us for this highly unusual event.
Further details are as follows:- Date & Time Tuesday 27th May commencing at 2.00pm.The tour starts promptly at 2.30pm and lasts for 2.5 hours so please do not be late.
The meeting point is : Roman North Gate between the Cathedral (DOM) and the Tourist Office ( Address: Domkloster/Kardinal-Hoffner-Platz) The tour will be in the English language. After the tour we will pop to the Fruh brewery in Cathedral Square for refreshments and something to eat.
Cost 15 euros for members, 20 euros for non members Payable in advance or on the day.
