British Heritage Festival

Hi Everyone, The British Heritage Festival; as this is an all day event it is not an official meet up but a fun time not to be missed. This is the information I have so please check out the details on the web site. There are coupons for 2 for 1 entrance to be used at the door see below. Pay for the tickets at the door, without coupon tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for kids. British Heritage Festival at the Cloverdale Rodeo Show Barn on October 23rd. Seven hours of British comedy, music and food. Headliner is Really Rod - a Rod Stewart tribute, plus The Shads - The Shadows tribute band. There's also a brass band, morris dancers, punch and judy, a classic car show, a British comedy show - lots of british food and vendors - and its all indoors!
More details at www.britishheritagefestival.com Its run by the same people as do the one in Nanaimo, but this one is much bigger. Tickets are $10 at the door - but there are 2 for 1 coupons at most British shops - including the new Saltys in Langley, and at P&G Sausage in Langley, so it's only $5 for 7 hours of entertainment with a British twist.

Looking forward to this one,
Andrea

I have posted my commenst and they are not flattering due to poor signage, lack of social aspect, high priced items and lack of communication with the organizer who sent me the information ( three emails I have in my drafts) state three different mixed messages.

Thanks for sharing feedback re: the british festival. I have heard mixed comments, sadly for the organizers not positive.

I will drop an email to the organizers and the expats of Van and let them have some feedback. Hope this helps them improve, if damage not already be done. No one impressed with food prices. Entertainment too spread out. Cars were the fave for most. Langley has many car clubs and shows. Feel free to email through www.britishheritagefestival.com
    Thx,
    Andrea

I enjoyed the cars and the entertainment. I would have liked to see more vendors, the selection of British foods was a bit skimpy, and I didn't care much for the concession stand, the food smelled very greasy.
