Acceptance is often quoted, quite correctly, as being an essential component of developing a non-judgemental response to life events that characterises mindfulness.
The day-to-day interpretation of acceptance implies that we will 'put up' with stressful and intolerable situations but in the context of mindfulness that is absolutely not the case.
Come along to our meeting for a meditation session, some guidance about techniques and to learn about how acceptance, in the context of mindfulness, can help us to be more resilient in our daily lives.
Meditation sessions are held in the room adjacent to St Mark's Church, Westmoreland Rd, Bromley, Kent, BR2 0TB.
Entry is via the main door of the church from which you can enter the church room.
Although we are very grateful for the use of the room, we are not affiliated in any way with St Marks.
There is no parking at the venue though there is parking in nearby streets. You will need to refer to the parking restrictions for times.
From Bromley South station, turn left out of the station. Walk to the traffic lights at the junction of Westmoreland Road on your right and you will see St Marks church. This is a two minute walk.
From Bromley North it is either a 15 minute walk or one of many regular buses to Bromley South.
Bromley South is served by numerous buses including:
