Come along and take the first step in overcoming your fear of public speaking

There will be a programme for the evening and some of our members will be delivering prepared speeches, others will be taking on roles such as being time-keeper, or leading a warm-up round at the start of the meeting. As a guest you can simply spectate, but if you wish to participate, then that is also warmly welcomed. No one is made to speak if they don't want to. Although the prime objective is to help everyone to gain confidence in public speaking, we also make sure we have a lot of fun along the way. Attending as a guest is FREE!

A highly enjoyable evening of impressive speeches and thoughtful evaluations. It was contest night so there was extra tension and an extra buzz. Well done to all participants and congratulations to all winners. And thanks to all those who helped: time-keepers, ushers, judges and counters. And a special big thank you to our Contest Chair, Jenny.
