How fast can you Fold your Brompton?

Come and try your folding skills in the 'Scottish Brompton Folding Bike Challenge', using the official 'Brompton Timing Clock',

We are inviting everyone to come along to our shop to see who can fold a Brompton Bike from fully assembeled to fully folded, in the quickest time. You can either use your own bike or use the one supplied by Biketrax.
Tom Ryan from Biketrax managed a pretty good time of 10.89 secs at the recent Scottish bIke show.
We are holding heats on 12, 17, 18 and 19th June, with the final on Saturday 21st June 2014. See link below for timings.
Prizes will be awarded to the folk who get the 3 fastest times.
So get practicing!

Congratulations to Becky Taylor who won our Brompton folding championship on Saturday. She beat Akihiro Fujiwara and Alistair Paul in the head to head final. Becky's time in the final was 10.88 which was actually her fastest time ever! Thank you to everyone who took part and we hope it was an enjoyable event!

Regrettably I will be playing with trams in Nottingham on 11-12 June (Light Rail Conference) but other dates might fit.

Will all contestants use the same bike? My machine has no folding pedal or conventional freewheel, so it would not be an equivalent folding time.
