Double Rainboom Premiere 7 PM Screening

Double Rainboom, an animation project by Zachary Rich and our own AJ Gutierrez is premiering on March 30th.

Considering that Season 3 is over, and this is a good dose of pony, I say IT'S PARTY TIME!!!

As for getting here to The Palms, it's pretty easy! For public transit: The San Francisco CalTrain station is just a walk away, Powell BART is a couple city blocks down 4th, and MUNI stops are all around! If you must, there's still several parking lots within the neighborhood; Just prepare your wallets!

IMPORTANT: There are SPECIFIC instructions on how to get into the building & the theater. These have already been sent out! Please contact Nymo for details on how to get in!

      Just so I have this right, there are two showings. One is at 6:30pm and people should show up at 6pm. The other one is at 7:30pm and people should show up at 7pm. People who want to watch the 7:30pm one should remain RSVP'd in here. The people who want to watch the 6:30pm one should RSVP in the link you provided in the description, and possibly un-RSVP themselves from this event.

    Can Nymo or AJ clarify what time this is beginning? The event says 7pm, but Nymo says 5pm and doesn't seem to have responded to AJ's comments after he said we're no longer doing two screenings. I would love the information as soon as possible since we need to figure out if some people need to try to get out of work early to make it to this.

    So after getting a good look at the Theater at the Palms, I think we could fit eveyon in the RSVP list for one screening. We just have 2 rows sitting in the floor and a row on each side of the room to stand up on. Depending on the amount who shows up for the screening, we can determine if we should do one or two screenings of the episode.

    On a side note, I was wondering if anyone's willing to offer their camera with night vision to record the audience reaction. I'm planning to have the camera face the audience to see more reactions than the screen but we cant with regular cameras otherwise it'll be completely dark.

    Alright: I've taken the reins of this meet, as it is in my bulding

    One again: I am ONLY limited to about 20 people in the theater at any given time. If we seem to exceed that amount, we may have to make this TWO meets, both 2 hours in total, to view the fan episode & hang out a bit.

    In the mean time, however: I am limiting the meet to about 30 people, and I do ask you all from what time you expect to be coming in and for how long. This way, we can figure out the best time to screen the episode.

    Good news everybody! I was able to book my building's theater for the 29th from 5-9 PM, plus some post-party stuff in the lounge until 11.
    The bad news: I'm only allowed 20 people in the theater. Technically. We could have more, but technically speaking, we would require security, which will be costly. We may let some more in & stand/sit on the sides, but I would not anticipate more than 30 to be in the theater.
    So PLEASE: Be sure to check if you are actually able to come or not. I do not want to see people trying to come in last-minute.
