MacWaves, the shore-area Macintosh & iDevice User Group, will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13 in Room 224 of the ATec building at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft.
MacWaves has met monthly for nearly 20 years [previously known as the Monmouth-Ocean Professional Macintosh Users Group, or MOPMUG] to teach and learn everything Apple, primarily Macintosh computers, software and peripherals, now expanded to cover iPads, iPods and iPhones, and anything else made by or for Apple. We welcome long-time users, grizzled professionals, switchers from PCs and newcomers to the OS X/iOS platform.
Bob Shindel, co-leader of MacWaves, plans to talk about Photoshop Touch, Adobe's iOS version of Adobe Photoshop which can quickly combine images, apply special effects and share the results with friends and family through social networking sites like FaceBook.
Lee Maxwell, co-leader, plans to talk about software made by companies other than Apple to change or tweak the Macintosh graphical user interface.
We'll also talk about the latest news about Apple and its products and invite you to play "stump the geek" with your technical questions.
