So we can use BFC's as long as they're from a Silver Age set?

I know we don't know the format of next weeks games, but to clarify possibly the main rule, what do you all say qualifies as 'Silver Age?' I've been searching HCRealms and it seems this term could mean a number of things depending on the venue. Can we/I get a clarification on what it means for this venue? Thanks!

first new rules for brookhurst starts in June
2nd no op kits yet so format is for the iron-man3 movie coming out modern age , 500 points must have Ironman on the team 100 or above ,no atas, highlander rules , only one ironman type clix ,objects light ,heavy and ultra ,no belt, no gauntlet .

So are we using the new rules? If not, when do they take affect? They're pretty huge in their overall affect on the game.

im pretty excited for all these changes though, definitely changes the game, keeps it fresh.

Changes it? Transforms it in a HUGE way IMO. That's not necessarily bad, I just wonder what the impetus was. It seems clear that there are some figs that will become incredibly popular and some will argue that some of them have become broken. Isn't that the way it always is though. P.S. I still say golden age should be allowed! Especially with these changes, I see no reason to disallow them.

to address your questions in the previous thread michael:

support: you may REPLACE but you may NOT MODIFY. meaning, no you cannot perplex the attack or down the defense of your target. you may however choose to use defend to "replace" the defense values of your target. a good example is SOG LE dr. thomas wayne with a 8 attk, 14 defend and support.

energy explosion: the amount of damage each TARGETED character is based upon the attackers damage value. the opposing characters hit by the energy explosion that were ADJACENT to the target BUT ARE NOT THE PRIMARY TARGETS are given damage equal to the number of bolts the attacker has. a good example is cw hawkeye.

I've always thought EE needed to be improved/made more useful, but this seems FAR too easy to exploit.

      April 20, 2013

So to make sure I understand the new rule, because I realize I may not, A fig with EE, 2 damage and 2 bolts can target two figs. If he hits both, each fig would take 1 click, and all figs basing each target then takes 2 clicks. What if one or more figs are basing both targets?

    • Michael J.

      So what are OP kits?

      April 20, 2013

    • Jesse

op kits are what venues get as prizing from wizkids. like where you get les' and special objects.
