What makes you a Brooklyn Coder?

Well seeing as I am from Brooklyn, and I program, I hope count. Hoping to get some ideas on projects to get some real experience under my belt, and figure meeting coders in the areas would be a great way to collaborate with others.

What are you learning now?

Well, I am currently taking a class on languages, so I am getting crash courses on C, Lisp, Scala, Python, as well as continuing to learn PHP and MYSQL whenever I can to get better in web development.

"Hello world", my names Andy. I am currently a student at SUNY Oswego as a Public Justice major with a minor in forensic science but I've taken a bunch of CS classes because I love it. Think i'd rather spend my life coding than most other things.

What Andy V. is saying about this Meetup Group

I sound like a broken record but it was great :D One thing I'd like to see is more short presentations by people, specifically in the start up scene. Its something I'd like to get advice in, and since NYU Poly-Dumbo is centered around mobile start ups, I feel Like its a great opportunity.
