Some interesting upcoming events

Hey all,

Wanted to plug a couple of really cool events that are coming up soon. First:

Hackshop NYC: node.js - Saturday, 7/31, @
Brian Mitchell of NYC.js has been nurturing this idea for a while of doing regular hack days, and it's finally come to bear fruit in this Saturday's Hackshop at the offices here in DUMBO! The inaugural workshop is a great one: Node.js, the evented i/o framework that runs in V8.

This is incredibly last minute, but tonight the NoSQL NYC meetup is hosting Mikeal Rogers of Couchio who will talk some awesome about CouchDB in Everything CouchDB. Really wish I knew about that sooner, as it deserved earlier notice.

Finally, next Wednesday, 8/4, Time Inc. is hosting NY Web Performance and Andreas Grabner who will be presenting dynaTrace AJAX Edition 2.0, a free tool that provides full JavaScript, Network, Rendering, DOM and XHR tracing for Internet Explorer 6, 7 & 8. Should be plenty interesting.

Whew! Hope to see you at some of these!

PS: Also, I'll post details about our *own* next meetup, which will be about HTML5 web sockets.
