Ate too much Turkey and feeling guilty? Come out and burn some serious calories and go home and have a Turkey Sandwich after! I (Rene) will be hosting a ride at the 'Shorne! This is a Strong Intermediate Ride and you should be comfortable encountering some obstacles and some large climbs.
This is the hands down premiere trail in NJ. Its huge and has lots of great trails for the pro to beginner and its not too packed.
See the map below:
We will be doing the following trails; Enter Buttermilk Valley and climb up Laurel Ridge(right side) till it crosses Cuesta Ridge. Climb Cuesta Ridge till intersection with Grand Tour and drop in on right side and take Grand Tour working up to Rocky Point Trail and loop that till it hooks up with Grand Tour again. At this point depending on time and energy level, we can work our way down and out using Grand Tour or Laurel Ridge.
How to get there:
Take Route 36 (Exit 117 off of Garden State Parkway) to Navesink Avenue (Southbound turn right; northbound use jughandle for Locust/Navesink Avenue). Follow Navesink Avenue to Park on left hand side (Buttermilk Valley entrance)
