Volunteer Opportunity at Shiloh Community Garden

The Shiloh community garden for children needs assistance with its revitalization movement. Help with planting, clearing out debris, laying out soil, and other various upkeep.
The garden serves as a school learning garden for a public school in a low income area and teaches children about planting, growing, and caring for the soil, vegetables, and floral plants. The garden also teaches children and adults about nutrition, health awareness and how to save money by growing and consuming organic vegetables.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
