Hi all!

Great conference on International Development happening at NYU on Friday, May 2nd, from 9:30am - 4:30pm, FREE and open to the public! All details are at www.ipsaconference2014.com.

A bit about the conference: It's put on by NYU Wagner's International Public Service Association (IPSA), and takes place at NYU Kimmel, on the 8th floor. The topic is "Navigating the International Development Landscape" and features a number of sessions (which you can sign up for individually) including water sanitation, gender, migration, micro finance, agenda setting, international service... You get the idea.

The keynote address will be given by RPCV Carol Bellamy, who went on to be Director of Peace Corps (first RPCV to have the job!), Executive Director of UNICEF for 10 years, head of World Learning,... She's had some amazing jobs. And if we have a big group of RPCVs there perhaps we can arrange to have lunch with her? Just a thought. Let me know if you're interested!

There's also a networking session on volunteerism, which will feature PC, PC Response, Jet, Teach for All, and a few other organizations.

Share this info with anyone you know who might be interested in international development! It's going to be a fun, engaging day, and we hope to have a strong Peace Corps presence!

Questions? Comments? Want to help with any of it? Let me know at peacecorps@nyu.edu.

Best,
James
