If you are looking for a way to give back on a more regular basis, check out the tutor and mentor opportunities with South Bronx United below:
College Prep Mentor Mentors work one on one with high school seniors to help them through the college application process and financial aid.
When: Mondays or Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm, Sept 22 - June 3
Where: Urban Assembly School for Careers in Sports, 730 Concourse Village West, Bronx, NY 10451
Commitment: Once a week, 1.5 hours, Sept 22- June 3

Sophomore Skills Tutor Tutors teach small groups of 3-5 students an SBU curriculum focused on providing foundational skills in either Math or English in preparation for Regents exams and PSAT.
When: Mondays – Math, Wednesdays – English, 6:15-8:00pm, Sept 22 - June 3
Where: Urban Assembly School for Careers in Sports, 730 Concourse Village West, Bronx, NY 10451
Commitment: Once a week, 2 hours, 14 weeks (1 semester) or 28 weeks (both semesters)

SAT Prep & Regents Tutor Tutors work with small groups of 3-5 students on SAT subject areas of Math, Reading Comprehension, and Writing as they prepare to take the SAT in Spring of their Junior year and Regents test in January and June.
When: Mondays - English, Wednesdays - Math, 6:15-8:00pm, Sept 22- June 3
Where: Urban Assembly School for Careers in Sports, 730 Concourse Village West, Bronx, NY 10451
Commitment: Once a week, 2 hours, 14 weeks (1 semester) or 28 weeks (both semesters).
