Brooklyn is home to the coolest startups in New York, some but not all of them are technology based, we embrace them all.

Time after time I find art and creative startups, community  not for profits doing cool kids projects, as well as educational, food or social  initiatives wherever I look.

Were locals, and weather your in or Dumbo,  Park Slope or Wiiamsberg this part of the world has a unique,  dynamic multicultural vibe all of it's own.

We want to know what we share, how we can help each other, what resources there are.
How to connect with other folk in the community that are dealing with similar challenges or seeing similar opportunities. We want to meet folk who could help, become clients, partners,
employees, friends, advisors, investors, etc.
So we should at least get in the same room, get to know each other and see where it goes?

The group is open to anyone. Your either planning to or creating a startup company/ organization, or you want to meet others who are.

We welcome diversity and whilst we know there are a number of techy startups in our community, there are many other innovators as well. Were all dealing with where the rubber hits the road and where the silicon meets the street.

Don't be shy, come and listen, learn, share and meet other like minds. Come and inspire, innovate, connect, grow and share we look forward to meeting you.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
