Sunday Football 1/26/2013

Get ready for another week of football. Note that if there is still on the ground we will still be playing so make sure you show up if you RSVP!

As usual we're going to set the field for Dyker's artificial soccer field. If that field is full then look to the messages section in case we switch over to Bay 8th field located around 14 Ave and Cropsey Ave.

***************

Attendance will be strictly enforced. No-shows will be marked and posted on the subsequent meetup. First time offenders will be given the benefit of doubt, second time offenders will be warned (consider your name in this email and the number of times you no-showed as warning) and those who miss a third time will be banned, permanently! Those that show up without RSVP to circumvent this will be warned as well. We need to know how many people will show up in order to decide if we have enough people for a game that week.

There is a $10 membership fee. All new members are allowed to play for free the first two games. If you decide to continue with us then please remit the membership fee. Our season starts on 9/1 and the $10 is good for all games for the year.

Look for the large grass field consisting of 5 softball fields which is near the big red brick outhouse at Bay 8th park or the large artificial soccer field at Dyker Park. We will be the only people playing football.

We need at least 11 confirmed players for a game tomorrow otherwise we will cancel. Check here by tomorrow morning before you leave the house.

And you still want to continue playing? You have to put a stint on it. Let me know if need one. My daughter went to a pediatric ortho at Maimonides. The wait was long and I was ready to yell at the Dr but after seeing how professional n patient she was I felt a 180 change. I'm sure the adult orthos are good. I've experienced two other independent ones n I was underwhelmed by their service.
