Hurricane Sandy 2012 -- How You Can Help Cats Caught In Storm

Hello Fellow Cat Servants!

I wanted to start a dedicated discussion threat for our Brooklyn brethern regarding Hurricane Sandy and the aftermath insofar as how we can help with cats. There are a number of groups that could use volunteers, supplies, a break to get a warm bowl of milk...one of the groups I know of is KittyKind (www.kittykind.org) who sent us a message saying they are in need of temporary foster homes for cats displaced by the storm, including cats whose owners found shelter but were unable to take their cats with them for various reasons (allergies in host's house, etc.)

So please feel free to use this discussion thread on either the Brooklynite Crazy Cat People Society page or the New York City Cat Meetup Group page  to exchange messages; that way we'll be able to cut down on the number of emails to your litterbox, er, in-box!

Please check in and let us know how you and the kitties are doing, too! Funny pictures would be especially welcome to keep people's spirits up. :)

Warm purrs:

Diane and Fox,C.E.O. (Cat  Executive Officer)

The New York City Cat Meetup Group

Temporary Interim Officer, Brooklynite Crazy Cat People Society
