“Puppies need to socialize with other puppies and friendly strangers in a safe and clean environment in order to grow up to be well adjusted adult dogs. Plus it's just downright fun to watch our puppies having a blast!” All puppies 8 weeks to 18 weeks (4.5 months) of age welcome, but we ask that you follow these guidelines:
•Puppies must wait at least 10 days after going to their forever home to participate in meetups.
•Bring a copy of your most up to date vaccination records with you.
On your pet's first day, please bring:
- a copy of your pup's vaccination records to date. Please note, we are looking for DHPP or DHLPP, and Bordetella. Dogs are REQUIRED to have received these two vaccinations prior to attending. DHLPP / DHPP are given in a series of boosters, so dogs that have not completed the series are still able to attend as long as they are staying on schedule with the series.
- your puppy's collar and leash
- Treats - Please let us know when you check in if your pup has any special diet considerations and should not be given treats by other participants.
•NEVER bring a puppy that is showing any signs of illness to the group. This includes things as minor as a sniffly nose, diarrhea or vomit. If you have any doubt, wait until the next meetup. There will be more!
•All dogs must remain on leash until in the training room.
•Please, always pick up after your pet. Receptacle will be provided for your pet's waste.
We provide this environment for you to socialize your dog because its important to socialize in a safe, clean and structured environment. Spread of disease in undervaccinated puppies is a real and serious risk. Please, for the safety of your puppy and for other participating puppies, follow the above guidelines and also avoid high-traffic animal areas like hiking trails, dog parks, pet shops etc. For more information, please visit the website of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior and see their guidelines for puppy socialization here.

Last, if your dog is struggling with fear or reactivity around other dogs or people, please bring it to the instructor's attention promptly so that we can make modifications to the environment to suit their needs.
See you there!
