We have all experienced it at one point or another. No matter how much success we have on the outside, we may doubt our accomplishments on the inside. It seems like every milestone should have been reached faster, better, more efficiently and with less mistakes...not to mention the apprehension of how to deal with future challenges.
That is Career Fear.
Career Fear is the doubt that keeps us trapped in the wrong job or profession. It the so-called voice of reason that tell us not to take foolish risks. It is the excuses that stall our passion and strangle our true calling.
You don't have to be ruled by Career Fear!
In this presentation, learn the three keys to move beyond Career Fear. Laugh with presenter Donna Shannon as she shares her own personal growth out of fear and into courage. The practical exercises give the audience tools to start their own journey towards a career they love. It can be done!
The Brown Bag Job Search Group meets on the second Wednesday of every month, from 12:30 - 2 pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 10th and Garrison in Lakewood.
Each month, we explore a topic related to job searching, with a 45-60 minute presentation followed by open networking time.
The vision of the group is to educate our members, while providing an opportunity to meet with other job seekers for support and connection.
We will send out a notice of the upcoming presentation before the next Meetup.
