James Dennis will be discussing gevent (http://gevent.org) in detail and explaining some how it makes concurrent programming in Python a straight-forward task.
Seth Murphy will be discussing a services package he built for Brubeck that makes working with external services a straight-forward task.
And if you know anyone who really loves Tornado or Twisted, please bring them along. We will learn a lot from the clashes that will surely emerge from having the two strong opinions on concurrency in Python in a single room. :)
Agree with Patrick, great presentations! The gevent primer was really useful. I also really like the look of Seth's work toward making polyglot service-oriented architecture effortless. Thanks guys!
