Chef Daniel Dobbs, formerly at The Cliffs Keowee Vineyards, felt it was time to sell "DobbieQ" - a food concept that involves local goods and good locals. It's a line of smoked brisket, chicken, catfish, and appetizers that incorporates a chef's touch and some classical French methods. He uses pork and beef from Greer, chicken and catfish from close by in North Carolina, and shrimp from his home state of Alabama.
Located in a modest, glass-fronted building between Poinsett Highway and Rutherford Road, Independent Public House is a place where you can eat great local food, drink awesome local beer, with a background of live local music. I hope you can join us!
