Axe Throwing - BYOB - SOLD OUT

Hey guys,

I like to find unique, interesting and fun things to do with the group. I found this place 6 months ago just before I started the group and since then I've received so many requests I just had to add it.

The event includes coaching and practice followed by a round-robin tournament and a playoff final.

Solid, straight lines divide the space into distinct throwing areas... so it's super safe. ;-)

Located at 33 Villiers St. which is just off Cherry Street, south of the Lakeshore. This is the Backyard Axe Throwing Leagues second location and largest complex.

The cost is $40 per person tax included and runs about three hours. Payment via PayPal when rsvp'ing or e-transfer the funds to [masked], security answer: throwing and I will add your rsvp from my end. (additional $1.50 is for PayPal payments only)

BYOB? - the only rule is no hard liquor and no glass... cuz that would be dangerous. This is going to be so much fun!!!

Hope you can make it,

Dutch

Looks easy but ... yikes!!! Never would have thought with all that practice and 9 rounds of competition it would take a while to stick a few :o

Got my work boots, jeans, and plaid fleece shirt already to go!

    April 19

    • Dutch

Aren't plaid shirts mandatory for an event like this? I've been growing my beard for 2 months in anticipation for it and even got 3 new tattoos. :-)

  • Dutch

    Hey guys

Please be there 15mins early so we can all start on time. If you're normally running late for things please be there 45mins early and you'll be on time. :-)

I made a reservation for 30 at the restaurant for after axe throwing. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there but for some reason only 13 of the 36 going to this event have rsvp'ed. Please head over to the "After Party" event and rsvp.

    April 3

  • Doug W.

Since we finish up around 7 pm, is there anywhere down there that would be good for dinner? I don't know that area! Anyone else want to hangout/eat/drink/socialize???

    1 · April 3

    • Laura

me too, how about Distillery District?

      April 3

    • Davey

There's place right at Cherry & Comissioners called Cherry Street Restaurant. Never been there so I can't say anything about it.

As Laura mentioned there are quite a few places in the Distillery District. Also lots of places in the St. Lawrence Market area. Maybe try Betty's at King East and Sherbourne. They do have a party room on the second floor that you may be able to reserve.

I'd like to pay via e-transfer but I can't proceed with rsvp as it onlt has the Pay Pal option. Do I complete the e-transfer first then you'll advise if my rsvp has been received.

    March 14

    • Dutch

As it says in the description above... when I receive the e-transfer I will add your rsvp from my end. See you there.

Does Vodka Cranberry count as a hard liquor?...The cran really waters it down ya know.

    1 · March 11

    • Dutch

I think that's ok as long as it's in a plastic container. We need to be extra careful as to not cut ourselves on broken glass. :-)

      March 13

  • Maria

Oh my goodness me ... did I yearn for this out loud or did you read my mind??

    March 8
