I have been hiking all my life, but recently have gotten the bug bad. I want to hike a whole section of the BT in the near future. Also want to help with the maintenance of the trail.
A great group to meet those that keep the trail maintained and work had to earn funds to improve and to the trail.
Greetings Deb, Welcome to the LOL Group --check out our meetup events posted. I hope you will be able to join a meeting when you settle in Maine. deb

Hey Deb, how far would you say it was from Brownsville to Dillion?
We'll be in PA whitewater kayaking this weekend, but was thinking of scheduling something for the next weekend. If you do go, please let me know how it was. Take care.
Hey Deb, I hope all is well. I was wondering if you knew how the Licking was right now? USGS says over 3ft at Dillion, but wasn't sure if it was runnable or not? Thanks for your help
Okay, thank you
