Owner & lover of four 4-string instruments (tenor banjo, tenor guitar, mandolin & ukulele.) I sound pretty good after you've had a few beers.
This is a really fun meetup - thanks to all for bringing your energy to the meetup. I received several nice compliments from the folks at Ronald McDonald House about our playing. We'll schedule more there in the future. Enjoy the holiday weekend!
Hi John. I attended my first meetup this evening at the Grandview and had a great time! I need to clarify something. I thought your Wed meetings had been at a church but the future meetings show Ronald McDonald House. When I first saw this location mentioned, I thought it was a special performance for the folks there but now that I see all future meetings are there it appears to be a location change. Is this correct?
Was tonight the last meetup at Grandview Grind?
Hi John. I asked you this a year ago but I'm sure there are new members. I live in Newark and would like to try to get together with some local folks. Are there any members in the Newark, New Albany, and possibly Westerville area that may want to jam? Your Wednesday evening schedule has not worked out for me. Thanks for your help. Ken [masked]
Just realized we had communicated about this a year ago!!
Hi John! I would love to join the group on Wednesdays, but that is the day I have band practice. If ever there is a Saturday or Sunday meetup, I will be sure to attend!! Thanks for the invite!
Thanks, John. Do we have any music in advance or just show up and read some good new things?
Hi John, thanks for the welcome. I was confused by your question until I looked at my photo again! That was taken in a friend's basement, which he has all decked out like a British pub. I do throw darts on occasion, but it's like my ukulele-playing: not all that good and just for fun. Hope to get to say 'hi" in person. Cheers.
Hi John, sorry I couldn't make it last night. I'm aiming for August though.
I hope to give you guys more stuff. I really need to get my web site up and working again.
Anyway, I hope to see you again this Wednesday. Keep Strumming, Singing, and Smiling, Terry Truhart
